\nThe easiest way to restart your Windows Service is with our Service Scheduler<\/a> tool.\n<\/p>\n

It’s completely free<\/b>, super simple to use and you can schedule your service in less than a minute<\/b>.<\/p>\n

For example, here’s how to restart the Windows Time service<\/a> every day at midnight:<\/p>\n

    \nDownload Service Scheduler<\/a>. Save the executable file on your desktop, or to a well-known folder on your computer.\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    \nDouble-click the ServiceScheduler.exe<\/b> file to launch the program. If necessary, confirm the standard User Account Control (UAC)<\/a> security prompt.\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Choose Service Task > New<\/b> from the menu (or click the button):<\/p>\n

  4. \n

    In the Add Service Task<\/b> window:<\/p>\n

      Choose Restart<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      From the list of services, select Windows Time (W32Time)<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Choose Every<\/b> and Day<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      And finally, set 12:00 AM<\/b> in the time control:<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Click the Save<\/b> button. A new entry to restart the Windows Time service will appear in the list:<\/p>\n

      And that’s it! Going forward, the Windows Time service will restart every day at midnight.<\/p>\n

      Note that it’s just as easy to set up a weekly or monthly restart. Simply choose the appropriate day when configuring your service:<\/p>\n
